Happy international women's day 2022. Today we.appreciate each woman and their contribution to the world around them. The theme this year is centred on breaking the bias.
Bias is unfortunately commonly encountered throughout our daily lives. A UN report in just 2020 found that 90% of men and women held a bias against women. It can be conscious and unconscious. It is sometimes this daily covert bias that can weigh heavily on an individual and eat away at your motivation. Although this bias is a common issue to encounter, we want to motivate you to stay strong. Be part of the movement, #Breakthebias. Stop Bias! Stop stereotypes! Stop discrimination!
Today, we also want to take out time to celebrate each woman in EWAD UK. Thank you for your contribution to our community, your commitment to our goals and your support throughout your time with us. You are innovative, kind, compassionate, strong willed and fearless. As an organisation we hope to grow with you, continue to support you and help others.
