Amazing Black Women: Kate Anolue
This Black History Month EWAD UK will be shining a light on amazing Black women.
Appointed the mayor of Enfield, 2012-2013, Kate Anolue was the first Nigerian in Enfield local government. Prior to this she had 40 years experience as a midwife within the NHS. She also gained a law degree whilst working full time as a midwife and caring for her young family.
The Honorary Freedom of The London Borough of Enfield I just one of the many titles and awards Kate holds. Her experience has helped shape her passion for community growth, health, crime and safety, single parenthood, children and young people. She mentors and supports Nigerians in Enfield and in released her autobiography in 2019 through amazon.
Kate Anolue is an exceptional woman who has strived to help many in her community.
